It's true, you heard it here. You can now play Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age - final edition on PC, PS4, Xbox One. Not all the game, of course - the free demo arrives at 10 hours of content - but enough to have an idea of the improved version, which was once a Switch exclusivity. This is the first time that a dragon quest title has arrived on Xbox, so don't miss it. Dragon Quest XI S combines the inspired action of the anime of the franchise and the distinctive artistic style of the author of Dragon Ball Akira Toriyama with JRPG themes of friendship, adventure, destiny and life rescue. The players play the role of the luminaire, a young man who discovers that fate has something against leaving him a normal life. Fortunately, fate also gives it a really cool sword, so things are balanced.
The demo does not give new players a chance to explore the world and the history of the game. It also gives them an overview of new features and improvements in quality of life. You can now speed up battles, access audio in Japanese and English and use photo mode to capture the magnificent landscapes while browsing magnificent landscapes, and this is only the beginning. The final edition also adds a symphonic soundtrack, new stories of characters, an improved creation system and the possibility of playing the whole game in 2D as a classic Dragon Quest game. What nostalgia!
If you are afraid of finishing the demo and having to start again in the main game, don't be. The progression of the demo can be postponed to the full game when it was released, and as a bonus, the players who finish the main scenario of the demo will receive three "skill seed" objects which will grant you an additional point of competence. They can be used in the demo or in the full game.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age - final edition will be available on PS4, Xbox One (as Xbox Play AnyWhere) and PC on December 4, 2020.
