- FC Heidenheim ended its negative series in the 2nd Bundesliga. The team of coach Frank Schmidt won 2-0 at Jahn Regensburg (0-0). Heidenheim had recently remained four times without victory (three defeats) and thus played all chances of promotion.
Patrick Maina (51st) and Tobias Mohr (81st) met for the guests.
They sealed Regensburg's sixth game without a win in a row. For the Jahn, however, it was nothing more like for Heidenheim. He "does not expect a football treat," said Jahn coach Mersad Selimbegovic before the game. And he was right. The SSV was largely harmless. Heidenheim was a bit more active and had bad luck before the break with two posts by Robert Leipertz (4th) and Jonas Föhrenbach (20th).
