The development of Yakuza 8 is in full swing

Yokoyama-san is the main producer of the Yakuza series for several years. Even before the original creator of the Toshikhiro series left SEGA in 2021, Yokoyama was already led by Yakuza 7 Like a Dragon, while Nagushi-san has focused on Judgment and Lost Judgement.

Immediately after the start of the talk show, Masaeshi Yokoyam was asked about the current status of Yakuza 8. The producer said that the development is very good, but so far he cannot call the release date. He also added that the scriptwriter team from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio almost finished work on the plot of the game and now writes the climax. Finally, Yokoyama-san also mentioned that several members of the cast of Yakuza 8 have already begun to record replicas of their characters.
