A few months ago, Thq Nordic has essentially released a demonstration of concept proof for a remake of the classic Gothic game of 2001. The demo was a reworked version of the first area of the original game, published to see if there would be enough support for a complete Gothic remake. Well, yesterday, survey data were published containing information collected from the fans who played the teaser, broken down into graphs. Although there are many interesting statistics, the short version of the story is that they go ahead with a complete remake of Gothic.
The studio based in Vienna, Austria, has published a PDF file with the results of their investigation. It looks like a PowerPoint presentation, but it passes the message. While the playable teaser has been downloaded and played by more than 180,000 steam users, the survey was conducted by more than 43,000 people. He asked questions about the play history of the participants, such as their favorite series, genres, control entrances, etc. go forward.
You can see the details and results of the survey by yourself. THQ Nordic says there is no specific output window for the moment, but it certainly will not come out in 2020. However, they say it will come out on PC and new generation consoles.
