Which graphics card would I buy now? If I still have to buy a new graphics card in the coming months, there are currently two sensible alternatives for me: the RX 6600 XT or RX 6700 XT.
As a Full HD player, the 6600 XT is the one that attracts me the most and would have no problem doing it without the performance of the ray trace. In addition, the graphics card is available to a certain extent at this time.
With the RX 6700 XT, they would take care of me for the next few years and I would definitely have reservations for the ray plot and other tricks. At the moment, however, the price scares me, because I am not (still) willing to pay 800 or 900 euros for a graphics card.
If I had had time or had been in the Gamescom in Rhineland, it would even have ended up going to Colonia to buy an RTX 3060.
This is my recommendation: So, if you have the opportunity to get a graphic card at a fair price, you do not save some euros, but buy a little more performance than you have to update a year later. Because in the short term you save money, but sooner or later you will not be able to avoid it and you will have to buy new hardware.
Basically, however, the purchase decision always depends on several things. First of all, it depends on how big my budget is to buy graphic cards and, secondly, it matters for what I need the graphics card:
