As is common as many games, "Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart" also gave a day one patch for publication. Thus, among other things, another graphics mode has been added, which allows you 60 images per second with simultaneous rayTracing lighting.

Only a refresh rate of 30 fps was expected at a "relatively low resolution" with activated raytracing or 60 images per second at a high resolution without raytracing. But towards the end of the development, the interdisciplinary teams of Insomniac Games have found out thanks to close cooperation that even more is possible on the PS5.
The development on a new console is referred to by Fitzgerald as a permanent discovery process. Only shortly before the completion one learns how much power can be picked out of the hardware.
The guys of insomniac work until the end to reach the best possible performance of the game.
