At the Quakecon, a Quake Remake will probably be announced, the ID software developed together with MachineGames.
Before this month the GamesCom takes place, another big event for video game fans is: The Quakecon 2021. As last year, it takes place purely on a digital level. It starts on Thursday evening at 20 o'clock. Friday and Saturday afternoon there is another live program on the Twitch channel of Bethesda. The official schedule reveals some interesting panels that provide news to various games and one of them could be the announcement of a new quake.
The first program point on Thursday after the welcome by Pete Hines, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing & Communications, and Erin Losi, Vice President of Global Marketing & Communications, is a panel for the 25th anniversary of Quake. Kevin Cloud and Marty Stratton speak of ID software with Jerk Gustafsson from MachineGames. Now, of course, it may be that the latter is simply a giant fan of the shooter series and therefore really wants to be there. Probably, his appearance is due to the fact that MachineGames work together with ID software on a new edition of Quake.
The whole thing is only a rumor and therefore to enjoy careful, but the colleagues of Xboxera have noticed that last week in the timetable of Quakecon still something of it stood that on Friday a Let's Talk Quake panel with Digital Foundry and and that Jerk Gustafsson takes place in which it is about a revitalized edition by Quake. In the meantime neither from that project nor Gustafsson is the speech, but only from Digital Foundry. On the other hand, we just have the panel on Thursday, where the man of MachineGames is part of the game. And again: We talk about that Quake will be 25 years old. We eat a broom when nothing new is announced on Thursday.
But on the Quakecon, it's not just about Quake. Thus, Arcane Lyon grants us a closer look at Deathloop at 20:30, especially its multiplayer feature. Afterwards Bethesda Game Studios reveals new information about Fallout Worlds update for Fallout 76 and then there are news about The Elder Scrolls online. Not only Quake celebrates this year's birthday, but also The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. In addition, Bethesda will take the Open World Highlight from 2011 on Thursday at 10 pm and plays its beginning, while the developers chat from the sewing box.
